Quick Oatmeal with Fruit & Nuts

Ingredients (1-2 portion)

 50 g oats
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 ½ tsp dark brown sugar
 150 ml coconut milk
Optional
 1 scoop protein powder
Toppings
 bluberries
 strawberries
 coconut flakes
 banana slices
 chopped walnuts
 ½ tbsp biscut spread or nut butter

 
Instructions

In a small bowl mix the oats with the sugar and milk.

Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook on medium flame for 5-10 minutes, stirring regularly.

Alternatively, cook it in the microwave on full power for 2 minutes, stir and microwave for further 1-2 minutes.

If you see that it's too thick and more milk and stir until it has the right consistency.

Leave it to cool down for 1-2 minutes and then add the toppings.
